Dorothy Vivian Fullilove Scott
Funeral services for Dorothy Vivian Fullilove Scott, 83, of Murphy, N.C., formerly of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Antioch Baptist Church, Bros. Samuel Tucker and Sam Hollis officiating, with interment in the church cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Scott passed away Monday, Feb. 25, in Murphy, NC. She was born April 30, 1929, to Sidney and Mae Gilliland Fullilove.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Debra Ann Scott McGukin; a brother, W.A. “Bud” Fullilove; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Junior Watts; and two sisters, Audrey Ruth Fullilove and Elsie Fullilove.
Survivors include her husband, Roy B. Scott; a son, Dennis Scott and his friend, Belinda Godwin; a son-in-law, Rick McGukin; siblings, Lem (Max) Carter, Martha (Jim) Overton, Gerald (Audie) Fulllilove, Gladys Pilkinton, Bill Fullilove, Jean (DeWayne) Givens; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Fullilove; aunts, Bonnie Hassell and Christine Triner; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael, Dusty, Dylan, Austin and Andy Fullilove, Michael and Nathan Harris and Randy Holcomb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim, Nathan, Blake and Travis Overton.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
