Janice F. White Ciprian
Janice F. White Ciprian, 68, of Albany, Ore., passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. Her faith in the Lord was strong and she is being held in His arms now.
She was born Feb. 5, 1945, in Addison, Ala., to Roy and Edna Randle White, the youngest of six girls. They moved from Alabama to Salem, Ore., when she was six. She moved to Albany, Ore., in 1980. She loved gardening, fishing, hunting, and spending time with her family. Traveling to Alabama to spend time with her mom, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews were always special to her. Fishing at Uncle Wilford's pond was one of her favorite things to do while visiting.
We had a very special visit from Aunts Shirley and Jeanette in November 2012. Mom wanted to take them to the Oregon Coast for the weekend. Her stepsister, Phyllis, came too. It had been 50 years since they had been to the beach together. Those two weeks together were such a blessing to all of us.
Jan worked hard her whole life, just like her own mom, Edna. Her passion for life and her determination in everything she did influenced us all. She always gave support and unconditional love to everyone. She touched all of our lives and we miss her so much.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Megan) Ciprian of Albany, Ore; daughters, Lisa Rentz Upex and Annette Rentz (Mark) Crossley, all of Keizer, Ore; grandchildren, Jake, Cole and Chloe Ciprian, Corey and Katie Crossley; sisters, Marie Head of Nesmith, Ala., Shirley (Wilford) Quick of Cullman, Ala., and Jeanette (Clyde) Taylor of Falkville, Ala.; stepsister, Phyllis Remy of Salem, Ore; nephews and nieces, Paul Conn, Harlan Conn, Sindy Kelley, Sherry Bryan, Carolyn Farris, Rachel Geno, Melinda Mendez and Joyce Rodriguez; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy White; her mother, Edna Marshon; and sisters, Mildred White and Lois Hale.
A funeral service was held Monday, April 22, 2013, at Fisher Funeral Home of Albany, Ore.
