Jacob Bueal Gladney, 70, of Arley went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 26, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 4, 1942 in Winston County. Mr. Gladney graduated from Addison High School in 1960. He went on to work as a foreman in the mobile home plants for 32 years. He also worked in poultry farming and as a family florist and at the family convenience store.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. Brother Mackey Watts and Brother Greg Dollar will officiate. Burial will be at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Helicon Community.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Glenda Gail Gladney; son, Carson (Patricia) Gladney; sister, Shelby (Willard) Wadsworth; and he was Paw Paw to two grandchildren, Megan and Sara Gladney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bura and Eugene Gladney; sister, Tuler McClellan; and brother, Lebert Gladney.
