Funeral services for Clois Freda Anton Stallknecht, 78, of Gadsden will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Holly Pond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stallknecht died Monday, March 18, in Gadsden. She was born in Jefferson County, Ala., to August and Sadie Wisener Anton. She was self employed as a free lance writer.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a son, Kurt William Stallknecht of Gadsden; two daughters, Yvonne Denise Richter of California and April (Joseph) Myers of Washington; a sister, Elsie (Don) Hartman of Florida; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday.
