Clyde Earl "Skinnie" Smith, 91, of Cullman passed away July 12, 2013, at Hanceville Nursing and Rehabilitation Clinic.
He was born March 21, 1922 to John G. and Annie Kreitner Smith. He was a graduate of Holly Pond High School and a retired truck driver, who enjoyed gardening and raising American Paint saddle horses.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 12-3 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Chapel with services immediately following. Dr. William Peinhardt will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Berlin.
Survivors include sons, Mike Smith, Rex Smith and Larry Smith; brother Ralph Smith; grandchildren Beth Johnson; Lori Baggett, Mary Claire Smith and Ben Smith; and great-grandchildren Kolton Sellers, Kyle Sellers, Alex Baggett, Blakely Baggett and Grayson Baggett.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Doris Patterson Smith; brothers Ed Smith, T.A. Smith, Alford Smith and Bill Smith; and sisters Edna White, Ophelia Keese and Ellen Smith.
