Funeral services for Linda Mae Williams Franklin, 65, of Hanceville, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Flat Rock Methodist Church, with the Rev. Roger James officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Franklin passed away on March 1, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Winston County on April 21, 1947, to John Daniel and Verla Mae Campbell Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her sisters: Helen Jones, Bonnie Carraker, Clercy Faye Jordan, Alyene Partain, Marjorie Schultz and Deborah Williams; brothers: Calvin Williams, Lester Williams and Frank Williams; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Bervin Murphy.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at Moss Funeral Home.
