Frances Elizabeth Price Little
Frances Elizabeth Price Little passed away on February 22, 2013 from dementia.
Frances was born on November 24, 1934 in Blount County, Alabama to Rose and Joseph Price. Her family later moved to the Birmingham area, where she attended Fairfield High School, and spent the majority of her life.
Following their wedding in 1954, Frances moved with husband Charles to San Diego, California as he served in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge, the couple moved back to Alabama and later settled in Midfield.
Frances retired from the Homewood Board of Education in 1997, then moved to Spanish Fort. Her life and interests were centered around her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Frances was predeceased by her parents and brother, Jay Price. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles A. Little; children: Jo Debrand (Juan), Leah Gonzalez (Jorge), Kevin Little (Carla), and Alex Little (Lynn); and 10 grandchildren: Christopher (Laura), Aubrey, and Mason Little; Nicholas, Phillip, and Brian Gonzalez; and Marcus, Ryan, Rose, and Rachael Little. She is also survived by 2 siblings: Wilma Love and Arlen Price (Peggy), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frances was a member of Spanish Fort First Baptist Church, where a memorial service will be held on March 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
The family wishes to thank the staff of both the Robertsdale Healthcare Center and Covenant Hospice for their gentle and compassionate care during Frances’ last months.

Carlton Eugene Stafford
Carlton Eugene Stafford, 82, of Cullman passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1932, James and Mary Katherine Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the original owner of Carlton’s restaurant.

Susan Werner died Monday, July 21, 2014, as a result of an apparent fall at her home in Gainesville, Florida. Susan grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and, after graduation from FSU, spent many years in Cullman, where she taught elementary school and received a master’s degree from UAB. While in Cullman, she married Robert Werner and helped run a family retail business.
