Richard Emery Pilkington
Funeral services for Richard Emery Pilkington, 54, of Holly Pond will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Jimmy Hamaker officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pilkington died Monday, June 25, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 9, 1957, in Talladega, Ala., to Nelus and Velma Vice Pilkington. He was a licensed practical nurse with Southern Health Partners and Cullman Health Care Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Bryan Pilkington; two sons, James Daniel Newman and Joshua Pilkington; a daughter-in-law, Lacy Newman; a grandson on the way, James Gage Newman; four sisters, Navada Williamson, Margaret Chatham, Deborah Dilbeck and Evelyn Pilkington; and two brothers, Charles Pilkington and William Pilkington.
The family requests no flowers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
