Darrel E. Calvert
Funeral services for Darrel E. Calvert, 61, of Bremen will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Cold Springs Baptist Church, Bro. Harce Swann officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Calvert passed away Sunday, June 17, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. He was born Nov. 17, 1950, to Calvin and Eula Taylor Calvert. Mr. Calvert worked at Hired Hand for the past 13 years. In his free time he enjoyed hunting at his “hunting camp.” He was always there to lend a hand if anyone needed help.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Larry Dale Calvert.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Ann Graves Calvert; a son, D.J. Calvert; a daughter, Amanda (Kerry) Hancock; two granddaughters, Emma and Claire Hancock; two sisters, Pat (Dewey) Miller and Virginia Calvert; two brothers, Keith (Kim) Calvert and Donald (Betty) Calvert; a sister-in-law, Joanne Calvert; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
