Nancy ‘Pearl’ Holmes

Funeral services for Nancy “Pearl” Holmes, 86, of Eva will be Monday, June 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Etha Cemetery.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Holmes died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Woodland Village Health Care. She was born in Cullman County on October 21, 1925 to Eugene and Alice Ragan Chambers. She worked at the King Edward Cigar Factory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Holmes; a daughter, Nancy Pearson; six brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a son, Steven (Kathy) Holmes; four grandchildren, Chris Pearson, Shannon (Char) Pearson, Liana Holmes and Dustin (Georgia) Holmes; and three great-grandchildren Tyler Corley, Adam Pearson and Suzanne Holmes.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
