William Hays ‘Bill’ Hill
Funeral services for William Hays “Bill” Hill, 80, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Center Point Baptist Church, David Carroll and Albert Dean Estes officiating, with interment with military honors in the church cemetery. Mr. Hill will lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hill passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, at his residence. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and Pemco in Birmingham. He also worked for many years as a funeral director in Cullman and Hanceville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion D. and Leola Boggs Hill; a son, Patrick; a daughter, Patricia; and a grandson, Kelly.
Survivors include his wife, Ressie Hill; two sons, Mike (Shelia) Hill of Holly Pond and Bruce (Doris) Hill of Waverly; four granddaughters, Kristi Hill Hager, Stephanie Hill, Casey Hill and Brice Hill; a grandson, Riley Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
