Funeral services for Willie Joe Ray, 68, of Hanceville will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Mac Buttram, Jonathon Todd and Walter Cash officiating. He will lie in state one hour prior to services.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ray passed away Sunday, June 23, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Ray and Vera Umphrey Ray; two sisters, Honor Ray and Ima Jean Hardin; and a brother-in-law, Earl Wrenn.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Ray; two daughters, Regina Ray and LeAnne (Mark) Shelton; grandchildren, Jared, Seth and Michael Shelton; sister, Norma Wrenn; brothers, Gary (Carol) Pinkard, Garland (Carla) Ray, Darryal (Gail) Ray and Randall Ray; stepmother, Cloie Powell; brother-in-law, Gerald (Edna) Hardin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Ms. Sharon Capps Phillips, 69, of Springhill will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Mike Waters officiating, with interment at Springhill Cemetery.
James Edward McCravy
Funeral services for James Edward McCravy, 80, of Cullman will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hanceville; with interment in Ebenezer Cemetery. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
