Arnold Adams

Funeral services for Arnold Adams, 94, of Cullman will be Friday, July 5, 2013 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stanley Dye and Rev. Norman Dye officiating. Interment will be in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Mr. Adams passed away on July 2, 2013 at Tut Fann Veteran’s Retirement Facility in Huntsville Alabama. He was born in Cullman Alabama on February 18, 1919 to John Thomas and Mary Odessa Crumbley Adams. He was a veteran of The United States Army. He worked as a Quality Control Inspector in the steel industry.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Dye Adams and 10 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra (Doug) Miller and Teresa (Joe) Hill; two sons, Charles (Jennie) Adams and James (Cathy) Adams; one sister, Perlene Wheeler; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Baileyton United Methodist Church @ P.O. Box 134 Baileyton, AL 35019.

Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of service.

    Carlton Eugene Stafford, 82, of Cullman passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1932, James and Mary Katherine Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the original owner of Carlton’s restaurant.

    Susan Werner died Monday, July 21, 2014, as a result of an apparent fall at her home in Gainesville, Florida. Susan grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and, after graduation from FSU, spent many years in Cullman, where she taught elementary school and received a master’s degree from UAB. While in Cullman, she married Robert Werner and helped run a family retail business.
