Funeral services for Jewel Hazel White, 84, of Arley will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Meek Baptist Church, the Revs. Benjamin Smothers, Etsell Riddle and Dr. Richard Welch officiating, with burial in Meek Cemetery.
Nichols Funeral Home in Addison is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. White passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, in Cullman. She was born Sept. 12, 1925, in Parrish.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ora Smith; her twin brothers, Hershell and Haskell Smith; and three sisters, Jacqueline Dyar, Margie Bennett and Eloise Carter.
Survivors include her husband, Scott White; a son, Rick White; two daughters, Becky Wilson and Vicky Deaver; two brothers, Lecil Smith and Coy Smith; a sister, Wanda Marie Coggin; six grandchildren, Vic (Felecia) Wilson, Brookie (Ronny) Harbison, Josh (Nina) Wilson, Tommy Deaver, Andy (Lyndsey) Deaver and Angela Deaver; and nine great-grandchildren, Dailey Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Eli Wilson, Emma Wilson, Jesse Wilson, Paul Wilson, Cameron Deaver, Truitt Harbison and Brooklyn Deaver.
Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church.
