JASPER — Junior L. Light

Funeral services for Junior L. Light, 80, of Bremen will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at Union Grove Baptist Church, James Hopkins officiating, with burial in the church cemetery in Bremen.

Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Light died Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Woodland Village Nursing Home in Cullman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manley Grady Light and Etta Louise Dooley Light; and his grandparents, Charles and Vinnie Dooley and James and Mary Light.

Survivors include his wife, Betty L. Light of Bremen; three daughters, Judy K. (Tony) Williams of Bremen, Peggy S. (David) Quartieri of Maxwell, N.M., and Wanda (Gerald) McMurrey of Hanceville; two sons, Steven L. (Patricia) Light of Jasper and Michael L. Light of Bremen; five sisters, Jean (Herschell) Overton of Picayune, Miss., Shurlene Williams, Vaudene Tolbert, Marilyn (Jerry) Bean and Glenda (Wayne) Bice, all of Jasper; five brothers, Lloyd (Bonnie) Light of Picayune, Miss., Lavon (Linda) Light of Hartselle, Wayne Light of Picayune, Miss., Jerry (Rita) Light and Kenny Light, both of Bremen; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
