Funeral services for Gary Dale Duckworth Sr., 54, of Hanceville will be at noon Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Pastor Glen Pair and Bro. Tim Harris officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Duckworth passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born July 12, 1958, to Charles Allen and Betty Jo Hazel Duckworth.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother who resides in Sumiton; his wife, Kay Harris Duckworth of Hanceville; two sons, Gary (Crystal) Duckworth Jr. of Maplesville, Ark., and Lee (Pam) Welford of Decatur; two daughters, Melinda Frank and Kerrie Haynes, both of Hanceville; four brothers, Terry (Donna) Duckworth of Corner, Jerry (Lezette) Duckworth of Hayden, Greg (Brena) Duckworth of Gardendale and Brian (Nicole) Duckworth of Graysville; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
