Jack Wallace Carter
Funeral services for Jack Wallace Carter, 87, of Adamsville will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Andrew’s Chapel Church in Morgan County, Gary Carter officiating, with interment in the church’s cemetery. The body will lie in state from 2 to 3 p.m.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Carter died Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton. He was born June 9, 1925, in Cullman County to T.P. and Bertie Wilhite Carter. He was a barber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Terry Carter; and a brother, Warren Carter.
Survivors include a son, Tommy D. Carter of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a daughter, Joanie Chasteen of Pell City, Ala.; a brother, Mack Carter of Vinemont; a sister, Ona Holladay of Danville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the church.
