Harold Troy ‘H.T.’ Wilson
Funeral services for Harold Troy “H.T.” Wilson, 76, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Rick Wilson officiating, with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wilson passed away Monday, Oct. 1, at his residence. He was born March 19, 1936, to Troy and Omie Barnett Wilson. He was an honorable discharged veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He retired from civil service for the U.S. Air Force after 33 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hazel Wilson; a son, Earl Wilson; two brothers, Charles Wilson and Talmadge Wilson; a sister, Rita Hartley; and a granddaughter, Amber Wilson.
Survivors include two sons, Paul (Linda) Wilson and Rick (Janice) Wilson; a daughter, Janet (Pete) O’Donnell; two brothers, Wayne Wilson and Jerry Wilson; 11 grandchildren, Randall Burk, Chris Burk, Brandi Darby, Angel Howard, Matthew O’Donnell, Jessica O’Donnell, Tim Wilson, Tabitha Wilson, Richard West, Heidi Merki and Bradley Wilson; and nine great-grandchildren, Anna Burk, Allison Burk, Riley Burk, Ben Merki, Josiah Merki, Alannah West, Shianne West, Michael Darby and Melissa Darby.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
