Marjorie Lee Griffin

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Marjorie Lee Griffin, 90, of Cullman, will be Monday, August 6, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cullman Memory Gardens with Monroe Griffin and Fredrick Whitt officiating.

Moss-Service Funeral Home of Cullman making arrangements.

Mrs. Griffin passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at her residence. She was born on September 15, 1921 in Limestone County to the late Sam and Bertha Reed Ashton. Marjorie was a member of Cullman church of Christ, had worked for 21 years at Cullman Lingerie and was the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, was always helpful, never said a cross word and loved her church family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dawson T. “D.T.” Griffin; one son, Carl Griffin and one sister, Laura Meadows.

Survivors include, two Daughters – Bonnie Hall and Elaine Hays; 4 – Grandchildren; 4 – Great-Grandchildren and 6 – Great-Great-Grandchildren.
