James H. Pittman
James H. Pittman, 86, of Cullman passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born May 19, 1927, in Birmingham, to Eunice M. and Audrey A. Bates Pittman. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a former mayor of Good Hope in Cullman County.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Doyle Bullard officiating, with interment at 2 p.m. in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Birmingham.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Martin Pittman of Cullman; four daughters, Kimberly Pittman of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Deborah Ledbetter of Tampa, Fla., Janice Anglemeyer of Blacklick, Ohio, and Patricia Turner of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sons, James H. Pittman Jr. of Tallahassee, Fla., and Michael Norris of Tenaha, Texas; a sister, Frances Hancock of Birmingham; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for James Edward McCravy, 80, of Cullman will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hanceville; with interment in Ebenezer Cemetery. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
