HOLLY POND — Woodrow ‘Jack’ Davenport

Funeral services for Woodrow “Jack” Davenport, 79, of Holly Pond will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Holly Pond Cemetery.

Holly Pond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Davenport died Sunday, March 2, at his home. He was born in Cullman County to George and Levi Thornton Davenport. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors include the mother of his children and dear friend, Ruth Moore; son, Douglas Lavon (Sharon) Davenport; daughters, Linda Gail (John) Starnes, Margaret Annette Hurst and Tammy Elaine (Phillip) Milligan; brother, Wayne Davenport; sisters, Marlene Davenport and JoAnne Clingan; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
