William Durrell Teague

Funeral services for William Durrell Teague, 77, of Vinemont, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, at 7th Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kerry Cleghorn officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Teague will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Teague passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Alexander Teague and Louise Moon Teague. Mr. Teague was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores Friedrich Teague; son, George (Billie Jean) Teague; daughters: Fharis (Ted) Richter and Jacqueline (Jeff) Hill; sister, Deatrice Teague Mahler; grandchildren: Quintin Richter and Morganne Richter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to 7th Street Baptist Church or Veterans Park in care of Merchants Bank.

    Carlton Eugene Stafford, 82, of Cullman passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1932, James and Mary Katherine Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the original owner of Carlton’s restaurant.

    Susan Werner died Monday, July 21, 2014, as a result of an apparent fall at her home in Gainesville, Florida. Susan grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and, after graduation from FSU, spent many years in Cullman, where she taught elementary school and received a master’s degree from UAB. While in Cullman, she married Robert Werner and helped run a family retail business.
