CULLMAN — Frances Elene Priest

Funeral services for Frances Elene Priest, 86, of Birmingham will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at St. John’s Church, with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Priest died Sunday, Sept. 9, at Ridgeview Assisted Living. She was born Dec. 25, 1925, in Eva to Homer Woodall and Eula Malone Scruggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Floyd Lee Woodall and Billy Gene Woodall; a sister, Shelda Massey; her husband, Isaac Columbus Priest; a daughter, Rhonda Eleanor Priest; and a great-grandchild, Dylan Anderson.

Survivors include a son, Marlin Jerome (Nan) Priest; four daughters, Linda N. (Bill) Schgier, Brenda G. Branch, Sharyne (Al) Wallace and Connie R. (Don) Hale; nine grandchildren, Dee B. (Nathan) Park, Andrea Anderson, Todd Branch, Dr. Wendy W. (Dr. Jeff) Christiansen, Kimberly D. (Kevin) Drake, Dr. Heath (Dr. Jenn) Hale, Justin Isaac (Jessica) Hale, Callie N. Priest and Mera F. (Chris) Price; 14 great-grandchildren, Drake Anderson, Trevan Anderson, Daly Anderson, Austin Park, Nelson Park, Carson Park, Amelia Park, Henry Christiansen, Kate Christiansen, Savannah Grace Drake, Liam Price, Allie Hale, Emmie Hale and Isaac Hale; three nieces, Athelia W. Gibbs (Len), Joyce W. Whipple (Ricky) and Janice Goodfell; two brothers-in-law, Hershel (Odessa) Cosper and Jessie (Marge) Cosper; two sisters-in-law, Bessie C. (George) Scott and Katherine C. (Gerald) Tucker; and an aunt, Ola Woodall Aldridge.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
