Funeral services for Virgie Diann Burden, 62, of Holly Pond, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Carl Wisener and Brother David Wisener officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Joppa.
Holly Pond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burden passed away at her home on Monday, July 2, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bursey Mabrey and Virgie Rasco Mabrey. She was a homemaker and a member of Duck Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Lynn Burden; son, Clint Burden; daughter, Amy (Tom) Smith; brothers, Paul (Charlene) Mabrey and Robert (Ann) Mabrey; sisters: Betty (Larry) Thrower, Linda Henry, and Billie (Corky) Calahan; grandchildren: Kane Smith, Gunnar Smith, Adalynn Burden and Sadie Burden.
