Dwen Cooper
Funeral services for Dwen Cooper, 72, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Spirit Life Church of God, Tim Herron, Johnny Benefield, Alf Poole or Andrew Ball officiating, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cooper died Thursday, June 28, at his residence. He was born Sept. 26 , 1939, in Winston County to Lincoln and Gladys Cleghorn Cooper. He was a truck driver for a cement company.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Christeen Brannon Cooper; a son, Randall Cooper; a daughter, Pamela (Randy) Brooks; a goddaughter, Winter Ellis; a brother, Dwain Cooper; five sisters, Annett (Lee) Ragland, Janice Burleson, Phyllis (Jimmy) Jackson, Rita (Franky) Sutherland and Melissa Farmer; five grandsons, Damon (Robyn) Jarrett, Jordan (Brandi) Ellis, Timothy Brooks, Michael (Bonnie) Brooks and David (Martha) Brooks; a great-grandson, Jeb Jarrett; and a host of other great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
