Harold H. ‘Squirrel’ Drake
Funeral services for Harold H. “Squirrel” Drake, 83, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Carlos Wilhite officiating, with interment in Flint Creek Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Drake passed away Sunday, March 17, at Cullman Long Term Care. He was born April 2, 1929, in Cullman to Johnny and Iowa Holmes Drake. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany.
Survivors include his wife, Vernett Drake; a daughter, Daphne Carnes; a son, Ricky (Lori) Drake; a sister, Imogene Lawrence; two brothers, Atla (Neal) Drake and Talmadge (Virginia) Drake; four grandchildren, Josh (Brandy) Carnes, Kandis (Frank) Brown, Bradley (Ashley) Drake and Scott (Shawna) Carnes; and two great-grandchildren, Madeline Carnes and Brayden Drake.
Pallbearers will be Scott Carnes, Josh Carnes, Bradley Drake, Butch McCulley, Michael Corley and Harwood Drake.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
