CULLMAN — E. Kate (Easterwood) Spann, 98, Pontiac, Mich., formerly of Cullman, Ala., passed away on March 21, 2014.

She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Spann and is survived by son, Joseph K. (Cindy) Spann; daughter, Donna (Les) Binion; daughter, Kathy (Buddy) Pruit; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was a member of Auburn Hills Church of Christ, a member of the Ladies Association of Michigan Christian College (now Rochester College), and a life member of the AT&T Pioneers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, 6 p.m., at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Mich. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. There will also be a funeral service held at Moss Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave. NW, Cullman, Ala., at 3 p.m. on Friday March 28, 2014. The family will receive friends at Moss Funeral Home two hours prior to the service. Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery of Hanceville, 442-700 Hopewill Dr. NE, Hanceville, Ala.
