Walter Yeager
Funeral services for Walter Yeager, 61, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Concord Baptist Church, the Rev. Roger Hood officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Yeager died Thursday, Feb. 14, Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 16, 1951, in Cullman to Harold and Vercie Hyatt Yeager. He was the owner of an industrial paint company.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include three sons, Chris (Amie) Yeager, Micheal (Angela) Yeager and Wesley Yeager; the mother of his children, Shearld Thomas; five grandchildren, Abbi Yeager, Maci Yeager, Taylor Ann Yeager, Maddie Yeager and Cade Yeager; three brothers, Jerry (Judy) Yeager, Jimmy (Judy) Yeager and Jackie (Patricia) Yeager; four sisters, Carolyn (Roger) Pope, Susan Widner, Deb (Marty) Vaughn and Vickie (Bobby) Jackson; a dear friend, Jill Green; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
