Elvin Ward
Funeral services for Elvin Ward, 98, a resident and a former mayor of Colony, will be at noon Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Colony.
Smith and Gadsden Funeral Services-Southside in Birmingham (205-322-3581) is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ward died Thursday, Oct. 4, at his residence.
Visitation for friends will be from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12. An additional viewing will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.
