James Elza Green
Funeral services for James Elza Green, 87, of Hanceville will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, with interment with military honors in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Corner.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Green passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Mahalia Johnson Green; his stepmother, Lois Green; a sister, Marie Blackwood; and a grandson, Matthew Justin Baggett.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Green; two daughters, Deborah (Tom) Baggett and Brenda Entrekin; three brothers, Paul Green, Lewis Green and Lelton Green; four sisters, Evelene Allred, Wilma Grace Criddle, Jeanette Fortner and Loretta Duke; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
