Funeral services for Chester Fallin, 79, of Baileyton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at Duck River Baptist Church, the Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating, with interment in Duck River Cemetery.
Holly Pond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fallin died Friday, Aug. 14, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Cullman County to Oan and Alvonie Hand Fallin. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lonnie and Elzie Fallin; and three sisters, Louise Hopkins, Lorene Hale and Shirley Ravenscraft.
Survivors include four sons, Danny (Carol) Fallin, Larry (Lois) Fallin, Chester (Carolyn) Fallin Jr. and Ernest Fallin; a daughter, Pamela (Jared) Blackmon; five brothers, Troy (Dessie) Fallin, Myrtis (Debbie) Fallin, Rayford (Hope) Fallin, Laster Fallin and Morris Fallin; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
