Funeral services for Julie Fore Smith, 37, of Cullman will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, Jeff Steele and Chad Allbright officiating with interment at Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith died Saturday, July 21, 2012. She was born May 1, 1975 to Julius Franklin and Dama Carol Humes Fore Guthery. Julie was an inspiration to everyone she met. Her faith in Christ helped her get through some tough situations in her life. Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2012. In December of 2010, her 8-year-old daughter was killed in an automobile accident. Through these trails, Julie remained strong and positive. She had a beautiful smile and will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father and daughter Hayley Anne Ryan.
Survivors include her husband, Josh Smith; mother; stepdad, Jimmy Guthery; mother-in-law, Hilda Smith; brother, Jeremy Fore; stepbrother, Chris (Alex) Guthery; brothers-in-law, Jeff and David Smith; sister-in-law, Connie (Red) Griffin; grandmother, Inez Fore; extended family, Kellie Ryan-Owen, Stacie Ryan and Casey Ryan; special family, Ruthie and Tom Maier; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, July 23, 2012 from 6 -9 p.m. at the church.
