She graduated from Anniston High School in 1958, where she met William Donald Davis, whom she married July 2, 1960. Anne and Don raised two sons, Tim and Matt. The family moved to Montgomery, where they lived until 1984, when they moved to Cullman. She was a member of Cullman First United Methodist Church and the New Dimensions Sunday School class. Anne was known for always remembering birthdays and holidays with cards to all of her friends and family members, and for faithfully and regularly visiting church members in the nursing home.

Anne leaves behind her devoted husband of 53 years, William Donald Davis; sons, Timothy Donald Davis (Lisa Singer) of Birmingham and Matthew Todd Davis (Janet) of Huntsville; sister, Linda Spalla of Huntsville; sister-in-law and brother-in law, Charlotte and Wesley Bittles of Saks; and grandchildren, Emma, Mary, Will and Ben.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Cullman County.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
