George Clifton ‘G.C.’ Graham
Funeral services for George Clifton “G.C.” Graham, 85, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Phillip Robinson and Randy Milligan officiating, with interment in Etha Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Graham passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born Dec. 25, 1926, in Cullman to William and Lula Mae Hyatt Graham Sr. He was a member of Friendship Baptist East, which he joined in 1955. He was a farmer and businessman and served his country during World War II as a member of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Clyde and William “Junior” Graham.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Irene Phillips Graham; four sons, Wayne (Janice) Graham, Wade (Judy) Graham, Anthony (Karon) Graham and Darrell Graham; two sisters, Lucille Hinkle and Wilda Moore; three brothers, J.D. Graham, Kenneth Graham and Ronald Graham; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in George’s name to Etha Cemetery Fund or to Alacare Hospice.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
