Timothy ‘Tim’ Mahlon White
Funeral services for Timothy “Tim” Mahlon White, 55, of Eva will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Jimmy Baker officiating, with burial in Simcoe Baptist Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. White passed away Thursday, April 12, at his residence. He was born March 3, 1957, in Cullman to Mahlon G. and Mary N. Pruett White. Tim was a lifelong resident of the Cullman area, he was a retired lieutenant with the Cullman City Police Department, having also served as the director of the drug task force. From 1999-2000, he served with the NATO Police Force in Kosovo, before returning back to work in the Cullman Police Department.
Survivors include his wife, Gordana P. White; two daughters, Miljana J. Ivic and Mary “Gracie” White; a sister, Dianne (Harold) Brock; a brother, Patrick White; two nieces, Karri (Burtis) Oden and Amanda Spears; a great-niece, Addy Spears; three great-nephews, Todd Phillips, Joshua Phillips and Blake Phillips; and a very special pet, Sam.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
