Thomas Michael Barnett

CULLMAN — Memorial services for Thomas Michael Barnett, 58, of Logan, are incomplete at this time and will be given at a later date.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Barnett passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at his residence. He was born February 8, 1955, to parents J. B, Jr. and Loise Cranford Barnett.

What do you say when a man leaves this world? Do you speak of all his life time of accomplishments? Do you say how he’s been a source of inspiration and joy? Do you tell everyone what a great sense of humor he had? Do you explain his willingness to answer your most difficult questions about life, and love? Do you talk about how he gave his friends, and family, comfort, as he taught them about his Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ? Do you try to express how loving, thoughtful, and generous he was? Maybe smile, and talk about the good times, and how his presence will be greatly missed, or do you say what he desired for you to say? Which was simply this: “I love the Lord! I never saw a more beautiful woman than my wife, that God blessed me with. My children were the finest a man could hope to have, and I loved each and every one of my 16 grandchildren, with all my heart. Now I am gone, to see my momma, and I love you all. Psalm 19:14.”
