Funeral Services for Mrs. Perlena Holmes, age 85 formerly of Cullman, will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ebenezer cemetery, with Bro. Ronald Cornett officiating.

Mrs. Holmes was born on April 25, 1927 in Cullman to the late William & Josephine Parker Jones. She passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside in Jacksonville, FL. She had worked at JC Penny and is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Holmes.
Survivors include her son, Steve Holmes; one grandson, Michael (Tess) Holmes; three sisters, one brother and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 21, 2012. from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
