Betty Jean Davis
Funeral services for Betty Jean Davis, 79, of Logan will be Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Logan Baptist Church, John McKoy and Jason Hancock with interment at Emeus Cemetery. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Davis died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. She was born January 27, 1933 to Floyd and Kate Cupp Morris. She was a retired cashier who worked in the grocery industry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R.L. Davis; a son, Larry Davis and a great-nephew, Scotty Laney.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce (Bruce) Laney; sons, Gary Davis and Terry (Anita) Davis; six grandchildren, Darlene (Jeff) Nuss, Desti (Duston) Neighbors, Christina Marotz, Larry (Beth) Davis, Anna (Eric) Lacy and Lori (JP) Jones; a great-niece, Traundia (John) Lambert; a sister, Martha McKoy; a niece, Kay (Roy) Scott; nephew, Tim (Bridget) McKoy; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
