Jerrold ‘Larry’ Bailey
Memorial services for Jerrold “Larry” Bailey, 62, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at St. James United Methodist Church in Montgomery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Southern Memorial Funeral Home-Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bailey passed away Sunday, March 14. He was a retired LTC U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Jane Bailey of Cullman; and his mother-in-law, Juanita Leachko of Ellisville, Miss.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Leachko Bailey of Wetumpka, Ala.; two daughters, Kelly (Steve) Morton of Hayden and Katie (Josh) Lackey of Auburn, Ala.; two grandsons, Andrew Morton and Jameson Lackey; two sisters, Beth (Tommy) Lee of Cullman and Stephanie (Chris) Sims of Washington St.; a niece, Teri Seymore of Cullman; his father-in-law, George Leachko, formerly of Ellisville, Miss.; special family friends, the Stringfellow family; and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Army Emergency Relief Fund or your local VFW.
Honorary pallbearers will be Royce Jean, Larry Carnes, Wyatt Hurley, Bill Parker and Nicanor Sandu.
