Edna Margaret Schnur
Funeral services for Edna Margaret Schnur, 87, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Jerry Lawson officiating, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Schnur passed away Friday, Aug. 10, at her residence. She was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Cullman to Forrest and Candas Morgan Scruggs. Mrs. Schnur was a member of Daystar Church. She enjoyed making crafts and while she was able, cooking was a specialty. Her late husband used to brag about her biscuits.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Schnur; a son, Richie Schnur; and her stepmother, Ora Mae Smith Scruggs.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Bobby) Posey and Peggy (Van) Isherwood; two sons, Donald (Kathy) Schnur and Charles (Nancy) Schnur; two brothers, Glenn Scruggs and Eugene (LaDonna) Scruggs; seven grandchildren, Tammy Bryson, David Posey, Jonathan Schnur, Matthew Schnur, Summer Isherwood, Tiffany Isherwood and Jimmy Isherwood; five great-grandchildren, Seth Bryson, Jeremiah Bryson, Ethan Wiggins, Onyx Isherwood and Wyatt Posey.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
