CULLMAN — Kimberly Ann Harris Sapaugh

Memorial services for Kimberly Ann Harris Sapaugh, 51, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., formerly of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at First Baptist Church, Cullman, the Rev. Jerry Cole officiating. Kimberly went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 3, 2013. She was born Sept. 9, 1961, in Huntsville, Ala., to Ralph M. “Andy” and Barbara Barnett Harris.

Kim enjoyed singing in the choir and performing solos at church. Though never trained, she enjoyed playing her piano. She was an avid dog lover and loved sunsets and lighthouses. She enjoyed her work as a nurse and caretaker holding positions as a cardiac RN at Mass General Hospital in Boston, Mass.; as an emergency nurse at Salem Hospital in Salem, Mass.; and most recently as a case manager for United Health Care Insurance.

Kim is survived by her husband of 10 years, Ron Sapaugh; her parents; two wonderful daughters, April Yancy (Nick) Zark and Sarah Yancy Kuehl; two stepsons, Jon Sapaugh and Tyler Sapaugh; one stepdaughter, Alyson Sapaugh; a brother, Andrew Harris; three amazing grandchildren, Aidan Zark, Kylie and Cosmo; her mother-in-law, Ellen Sapaugh; a sister-in-law, Judi Sapaugh Rosenswieg; and her two dogs, Sebastian and Charley. She also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and coworkers.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael Kuehl; and her father-in-law, Hoyle Sapaugh.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at First Baptist Church. Kim will be interred at Duck River Baptist Church. There will be no graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Kim’s honor to Restoring Women Outreach Center, 8366 Alabama Highway 157, Cullman, AL 35057.

    Carlton Eugene Stafford, 82, of Cullman passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1932, James and Mary Katherine Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the original owner of Carlton’s restaurant.
