Barbara Ousley Grant
Funeral service for Barbara Ousley Grant, 71, will be Saturday, August 18, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Graveside at Elmwood Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Shaddox officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Grant died on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1941, in Bibb County to Fred Belcher and Lorene (Kimbril) Belcher. Mrs. Grant was a member of Powells Chapel Church and a member and former President of the Ladies Auxillary Post 10774. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Vernon Grant, a son, a sister, and a brother.
Survivors include : one son, Don Ousley (Judy); three daughters: Sharon Grant, Deneise Burnham, and Michelle Adams (Greg); one brother, Curtis Osborn (Becky); eight surviving grandchildren: Jonica Grant, Alex (Haifa) Ousley, Andy Ousley, Blake Scott, Brody Adams, Brayden Adams, Samantha Adams, and Holly Adams; eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be sisters of the Ladies Auxillary.
