Emma Daisy Belle Suite
A memorial service for Emma Daisy Belle Suite, 69, of Vinemont, Ala., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Enon Baptist Church in Vinemont. The service will be officiated by Pastor Daniel Lee.
Emma was born August 13,1943 to Charles Edward and Emma Elizabeth Miller in Roswell, New Mexico. On Sunday, February 10, Emma passed peacefully at her home after a long illness. Her family continually loved on her throughout her last days.
Emma spent most of her life in American Canyon, California where she lived life to the fullest. She was a business owner and very active in the community. She served the community as a Brownie Girl Scout leader and was active in the schools we attended. She owned and operated a local video store and contract Post Office for close to 20 years. She was also very active in Lions Club International in Vallejo and American Canyon for more than 20 years, serving as Club President a time or two and several years as the Club Secretary. In 2009 she moved to Alabama with her daughter and attended Enon Baptist Church. She loved being in church, involved in activities and she loved her church family.
Emma was full of life and loved everyone. She had a sweet spirit, a great love for her family and she loved all the kids with whom we grew up. She taught us all so much about family, love and life. She is greatly loved in return and will be immensely missed. We take comfort that she had accepted Christ as her Savior, is in Heaven with our Lord and that we will one day soon see her again.
Emma is preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Destiny; and her grandson, Nicholas.
She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Kenneth) Hepner of Vinemont, Ruth Suite of Vinemont, and Mary (Karen) Suite of Vista, CA; by her brother John (Jan) Miller, and two sisters Darlene Rice and Elizabeth (Terry) Ludwig all of Mesa, AZ; by grandchildren Tarah, Tony, Matthew, Chris (Critter), Sabrina, Karena, Vanessa, Veronica, Chris (Chrisser), Kim, Kris, and Kelly; as well as 16 great grandchildren.
