CULLMAN — Ronald Douglas ‘Pip’ Veal

Funeral services for Ronald Douglas “Pip” Veal, 64, of Falkville will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Dan Anderson officiating, with interment in Etha Cemetery.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Veal died Thursday, Aug. 9, at his residence. He was born March 13, 1948, in Cullman to Luby Lester and Lena Adams Veal. He was a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Hulen Veal; and a sister, Dorothy Mozell Freeman.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Patty” Veal; six daughters, Haley (Ronnie) Ryan, Melody (Dion) Speegle, Dusty (Scott) Sanders, Misty (Jimmy) Kennedy, Tina Butler and Tracey Reed;  a son, Tony Veal; two stepchildren, Jason (Shekinah) McGriff and Brandi (Tommy) Adams; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wynell Jenkins and Shirly West; a brother, Bill Veal; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ryan, Scott Sanders, Jimmy Kennedy, Dion Speegle, Andrew Arbet and Wayne Veal.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
