Funeral services for Curtis Clifford Hudson, 80, of Cullman were at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Dennis Trimble officiated. Burial was in Cullman City Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hudson died Saturday, June 30, at his residence. He was born April 11, 1932, in Cullman to Robert L. and Georgia Alvis Hudson. He was a retired salesman with Buettner Brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, infant brother who passed at two days old, Troy Hudson, Lee Roy Hudson, Wallace Hudson, Gordon Hudson and Larry Hudson; and sister, Novell Griffin; two great-granddaughters, Mandy Hale and Tiffany Sharpton; four half-brothers, Floyd Hudson, Grady Hudson, Clarence Hudson and Talmedge Hudson; and five half-sisters, Mamie Rusk, Maude Hogue, Macie Minor, Ludie Barton and Clara Risi.
Survivors include his wife, Betty McCain Hudson; a daughter, Joetta Speegle; a son-in-law, Jerry Speegle; a sister, Nell Henson; three grandsons, Bobby (Rhonda) Sharpton, Steve (Julie) Sharpton and Larry (Allison) Sharpton; and nine great-grandchildren, Kassie Sharpton, Destry Sharpton, Gracie Sharpton, Ben Autry, Sarah Sharpton, Van Lee, Skylynn Freeman, Shayla Wilson and Kallen Sharpton.
Visitation was from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.
