Funeral services for Virginia F. Shelton, 79, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, Father John O’Donnell officiating, with interment in Shelton Grove Cemetery.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shelton passed away Monday, March 18, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Otis Foster Sr. and Louella Ary Foster; four brothers, Bob Earl Foster, Charles Foster, Otis Foster Jr. and Thomas Foster; and a sister, Margaret Stone.
She is survived by her husband, Edward C. Shelton of Hanceville; six children, Gary (Candi) Shelton of Winter Garden, Fla., Mike (Joanne) Shelton of Hanceville, Stephen Shelton of Warner Robbins, Ga., Teresa (Brian) Brooker of Spencerville, Ind., Karen (David) Clark of Huntsville and Regina (Keith) Lander of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Armstrong of Bessemer.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday.
