BIRMINGHAM — Roy Shadix
Funeral services for Roy Shadix, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Ridout’s Roebuck Chapel, with burail in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
Ridout’s Roebuck Chapel in Birmingham (205-833-7171) is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Shadix died Friday, Nov. 6.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Shadix; his parents, John D. and Hattie Theo Shadix; and a brother, Walter “Cotton” Shadix.
Survivors include two sons, David (Mary “Cricket”) and Jerry; his grandchildren, Brett (Gail) Shadix and Clay (Erin) Shadix; a sister, Connie Shadix Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Kathleen Grace Shadix and Brady J. Shadix.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
