Funeral services for Benny Green, 76, of Huntsville will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Nesmith Church, the Rev. Samuel Tucker officiating, with burial in Nesmith Cemetery.
Nichols Funeral Home in Addison is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Green passed away Saturday, Oct. 31. He was born March 25, 1933, in Valhermoso, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sue Laseter Green; his parents, John and Elizabeth Green; a brother, J.D. Green; and a sister, Opal Purington.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Taylor Green; two sons, Johnny (Kerry) Green and Brian Shaw; two daughters, Diana (Dennis) Stewart and Shelley Wright; a brother, James (Kathleen) Green; three sisters, Zelma Dowell, Patsy (John) Blackweilder and Lora (James) Brewer; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
