DECATUR — Funeral services for Betty Donalda Tucker Davis, 82, of Decatur will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, Francis Moss and Dallas Culver officiating, with entombment in Roselawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tucker died Monday, Oct. 26, at her residence. She was born March 16, 1927, in Logan to Henry W. and Ellen E. McAfee Tucker. She was a homemaker, mother and retired antique dealer, a lifelong member of a Methodist Church, the owner of Heritage House Antiques and loved gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, Gerald A. David; three brothers, Bill Tucker, Cecil Tucker and Johnnie Tucker; a ssiter, Lola Taylor; and a grandchild, Charles Burleson.
Survivors include two sons, Mark D. (Dottie) Davis and Dale E. Davis; a daughter, Linda A. (Thomas E.) Rapp; two grandchildren, Jerry Davis and Jeffrey Davis; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor Davis, Kathryn and Kassidy Davis, Ariel Burleson and Trinity Davis.
Pallbearers will be Larry Kirk, Jeffrey Rapp, Bill Tucker, Taylor Davis, Jerry Davis and John Bryson.
The family sends special thanks to Southern Care Hospice and Nickie Bailey.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
