Irene F. Kasulka Johns
Funeral services for Irene F. Kasulka Johns, 91, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Gary Miller officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Johns died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Cullman Long Term Care. She was born Oct. 18, 1918, to August and Mamie Holloway Kasulka. She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Melton Johns; a son, Dwight “D.J.” Johns; and a son-in-law, Oren “R.T.” Burks.
Survivors include four daughters, Annette Brooks, Carolyn Striker, Doris (Donald) Faulkner and Shirley (Mitch) BeShears; a sister, Lucille Bolden; 11 grandchildren, Junior (Sonja) Brooks, Gary (Trish) Brooks, Marteen (Shane) Bailey, Mike (Mary) Falkner, Tina Falkner, Tyra Sandlin, Rodney Johns, Teresa (Jeff) Paden, Cindy (Freddie) Martin, Candy Byrd and Demetrius Johns; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
